Today is the start of the Chinese New Year, the fifteen day celebration of the Year of the Horse. The wooden horse is a symbol of luck and opportunity. I read the down side but I will let you research that on your own.....it was not fabulous news and I have no interest in looking into it further. I do however absolutely love the positive aspects of this creature. It is among my favorites and I long for the day when I can ride again. Upon a bit of research I did find it appropriate to associate such good fortune with a creature that has carried us across plains, entertained us with both it's vigor, athleticism, strength and unparalleled beauty. I was utterly captivated with the gorgeous images I found and I went a little crazy with the amount I posted below, but once you see them I think you will agree that all horses are..... FABULOUS!
